- Does this mean LEMCO will relocate?
- No, in fact, you will find the former LEMCO staff where they have always been in Vienna. They are still just a phone call away.
- Will I still have the same sales representative?
- Yes. Your STI-Missouri sales representative will remain the same and is looking forward to contacting you to explore how our suite of products will better assist you in the efficient operation of your school district.
- Who is STI?
- STI is a company solely focused on meeting the needs of K-12 educators. Founded in 1982, we have grown to serve over 6,000 schools in twenty-eight states. Our products include student information systems, financial management systems, assessment tools, special education products and a professional development system. All STI products help educators manage their data.
- Where is STI located?
- Our headquarters are in Mobile, Alabama. We have regional offices in Illinois, Kentucky, California and New York…and of course, the newest one is in Vienna, Missouri.
- What will this new alliance offer that LEMCO can’t do on its own?
- More features, more benefits, more innovation. STI invests millions of dollars every year in development. The solutions are among the best in the industry. Your sales representative can discuss our suite of products and you can explore this website.
- I like the products I’m using now. Will my software system change?
- Eventually all software changes or becomes obsolete. We’re pretty sure you’ll like the changes that are coming. The products that STI has are all web-based, next generation products. It is important to note that the pace of change in terms of adopting newer product is always up to you.
- I’ve just begun to master the system I have. Should I plan to devote time and money into learning a new system?
- It may not be necessary to move to a new system. If you are pleased with your current software products, you will want to continue to expand your expertise on those products. However, after exploring our offerings, you may want to choose another direction. Our staff will be able to assist you on what works best for you.
- Will this transition affect me?
- If you are ready to move to newer products, it may affect you. If you are not, there will be no change in the short term.
- Will LEMCO change its name?
- Yes. LEMCO will become STI.
