Ease the Administrative
Burden
for Your Special Education Professionals
Special education professionals encounter two main challenges
in their jobs. The first is providing their students with the
attention and nurturing they require. The other is juggling the
myriad of administrative tasks that they must address when they
are not dealing with their first priority—their students.
STISpecial Education Tracking System helps these educators
and other service providers manage the necessary administrative responsibilities of their
jobs. Educators can track their students’ special
education needs in real time.
In addition to student demographic information,
the special education professional
may also access a student’s guardian
information, schedules, attendance,
discipline, and teacher demographics.
STISpecial Education Tracking System
maintains referrals, eligibility reports and
an IEP creator. It follows and updates the
multitude of timeframes associated with
special education, and tracks active and
historical IEPs, exceptionalities, transitions,
modifications, and academic skills.
Integrate Your
Special Education
Tracking with
Your Student
Information System
STISpecial Education Tracking System integrates seamlessly with our flagship
STIStudent Information System. This integration
allows administrators to easily
track attendance records and demographic
information for every student to generate
state-mandated reports easily and
automatically. The integration also helps
to streamline the compliance process
required to meet State and Federal regulations.
STISpecial Education Tracking System includes several valuable modules that
allow personnel to enter all special education
information, from every school into a
master database at the central office or at
each school. Each installation is tailored
to meet the way you manage special education
tracking in your state.
A district module accumulates special education/health information.
This program allows special education
data to be uploaded from the school to the
district office for reporting purposes.
A home module, STISETS Companion, allows teachers to
enter special education information conveniently
from home via diskette or e-mail.
A student folder allows for the collection of critical data used to report Child Count for funding purposes. Users are able to keep a snapshot of Child Count data while maintaining real-time data on a separate screen.
The student folder includes:
- Disabilities
- Base information—real-time data
- Transportation
- Medicaid
- Special Ed/related service
- Miscellaneous information
- Child Count data
