Global Templates
HealthOffice users love the Global Templates feature, which allows Districts/Schools to create an unlimited number of event templates that document their most recurring event situations. This feature not only saves time in completing events, it assists Districts/Schools with consistent documentation resulting in clear and consistent reporting.
Care Plans
Care Plans are here and operate in a full-blown Microsoft Word application! This template feature saves valuable time and reduces redundancy associated with creating care plans. Easy to use insert fields result in customized individual student information when the Care Plan template is linked to a student.
BMI and BMI Percentile Reporting and Form Letters
Does your district or school need BMI and BMI percentile documentation and reporting? The HealthOffice program automatically calculates and charts BMI and BMI percentiles, and our reporting selection criteria allow users and districts to set the BMI percent ranking as desired. For example, you can set the Growth Exam Summary report to view all students who have a BMI percentile of 90% or higher. Additionally, HealthOffice’s Form Letter feature allows users to set insert fields for height, weight, BMI, and BMI percentile populating the most recent exam results.
Office Visits
HealthOffice documents every aspect of each student office visit: date, time, examiner, referral, location, examination data, treatment, results, actions and dispositions, and more. On five easily navigated tabs, Event, Assessments, Symptoms, Treatments, N.A.N.D.A. (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association) and the R.A.D. (Results, Actions and Dispositions) area can be quickly and accurately recorded. Critical data about the student, including demographic data, alerts as well as indications about medications, special problems or special needs are always viewable. Emergency Information cards are always available on the HealthOffice toolbar.
Complete Student Record
The Complete Student Record consolidates everything the nurse needs to know about an individual student in one location. The multiple screen tabs document the student’s demographic and historical data. They track medications, special needs and special problems currently administered to the student as well as historically. The event screen will track past office visits, medication administrations, and health screenings. The immunization tab will show the student's current, past, and outstanding immunizations.
Items Logged
The Items Logged shows the entire listing of completed events for the day. Each summarized event can be viewed with commonly accessed information such as Event Type, Results, Actions, Dispositions plus any comments explicit to the particular incident. Log entries are automatically created when events like Office Visits and Medication Administrations are completed and saved. You can document your entire day of work without creating any extra work!
Items Scheduled
The Items Scheduled log lists all scheduled events to administer for the day. Common examples of scheduled events include, Prescription Administrations, Health Exams, Office Visit Re-examinations and Scheduled Appointments. Entire year’s scheduling of all medications and special needs services ensures fast, error-free documentation.
Immunization History
HealthOffice's Immunization section is quick and easy to use while being the most complete and sophisticated immunization entry and evaluation program available. The only data entry required is the vaccine and date; after that, the program takes over. All required vaccines and immunization series are evaluated for correctness in accordance with your state’s criteria. If a particular dose is invalid, the reason why it’s invalid is given. Exemptions for immunity, religious and other approved reasons can be entered and will be reflected in the evaluations. The Immunization History screen displays all required vaccines, doses given, whether the particular dose is “Valid” or “Invalid”, whether the required series is “Current”, “Complete” or “Delinquent” and whether the student is “Compliant” or “Non-Compliant”. Delinquent Immunization letters to parents can be printed automatically. There is an extensive immunization reporting section providing individual or statistical reports
Reporting
HealthOffice can generate virtually any kind of report or documentation needed in the health office or by the district or state agency. Demographics, immunizations, dispensed medications, referral reports and letters, special problems, year-end reports, complete health records, event logs, and statistics are just some of the over 100 standard reports. All reports may be customized through our sorting and criteria selections, giving the nurse or administrator unlimited documentation.
Security (Audit Log And Access Log)
HealthOffice is programmed to incorporate the highest degree of security and data integrity. It meets or exceeds the record keeping requirements of HIPAA and FERPA. The program offers multilevel data security with User and User Group defined permission levels. Each screen in HealthOffice can be configured with View/Add/Modify/Delete access rights by User or User Group. It automatically documents changes to a medical record as part of a separate log attached to the record. It secures and protects "Sensitive" records with an additional barrier. Finally, it logs all access to the records in the database by answering the following questions: who changed it?, when was changed?, what was the previous value?, what is current value?, and who viewed it?.
